What we need to do

We must do our best to fulfil the Lama’s intentions, and this is especially true when the Lama has passed away. It is not difficult to understand what we need to do.
When Kyabje Thrangu Rinpoche obtained the land at Namo Buddha the first thing he did was to build a retreat centre and establish a group of practitioners there. The next thing he did was to build a shedra (a Buddhist college).
Like this, when our Lama has dedicated his life to providing opportunities for the study and practice of the sacred Dharma, we can be certain that there is nothing better we can do to please him than by studying and practising the dharma as well as we can. This is what will fulfil his intentions and please him the most.
