Visits to Samye Dzong centres in UK

Over the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of September, Drupon Khen Rinpoche taught A Song on Seizing the Royal Seat of the Kagyu at London Samye Dzong, as well as sharing many words of practical advice for traversing the Buddhist path.
On the 23 September in the evening, he taught at Edinburgh Samye Dzong. He gave teachings on Mind Training and how to approach the Dharma, to a packed house of eager Buddhists, new and old alike.
On September 23rd he held a meeting with the steering committee of the Centre for Buddhist Studies at Edinburgh University to discuss the possibility of establishing a programme of Tibetan Buddhist studies at the University. He also gave a short public lecture in one of the University’s lecture halls on the key principles of Buddhism.
On October 13rd, after his visit in Samye Ling, he taught at Samye Dzong Glasgow on the west coast of Scotland. He taught on the Fundamental Principals of Buddhism. He spoke at length on how Buddhism gives a lot of emphasis to developing love, compassion, harmony and peace, and how this should start at home with how we treat our own dear parents and those around us.
