Enthronement of Lama Katen as Abbot of Samye Ling

Dear Friends,
In accord with the wishes and vision of Choje Akong Rinpoche, on the 15th day of Saga Dawa, Lama Katen Tsultrim Palbar was enthroned as the head of Kagyu Samye Ling. When I very first met Akong Rinpoche he spoke of his wish to see Lama Katen eventually succeed himself and Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche, and his very last words to me were a reiteration of this.
From my side I pray that he leads the community of Kagyu Samye Ling to the best of his ability, and all be auspicious and excellent.
