Teaching on Medicine Buddha

This evening, Drupon Khen Rinpoche introduced the history and practice of the Medicine Buddha at Thrangu Vajrayana Buddhist Centre་ Hong Kong.
The teachings were translated by Khenpo Tengye to a packed house at the Dharma Centre.
Rinpoche spoke about the different levels and lineages of the Medicine Buddha practice.

He then used the liturgy of Terton Tulku Mingyur Dorje’s treasure text to highlight the main parts of the practice, including the need to recite the lineage prayer, refuge and awakening mind, simultaneous generation of the front and self-visualisations, mantra recitation, and dissolution. He touched on the specific areas of samsaric existence that are purified by which elements of the practice.
