Thrangu Gompa Lama’s Annual One-Week Retreat

On 27th Nov 2021 the Thrangu Gompa lamas who have completed long retreat – with Tulku Damcho, Choje Lama Wangchuk Tobden and senior Khenpo Karma Tashi chief among them – came together for a one week retreat at the sacred site of Taklung Thrangu Yangstse Monastery. Over the course of the retreat teachings were given on The Precious Ornament of Liberation and four practice session were kept on the practices of calm-abiding and insight meditation. Today, the final day, we met the true and glorious lama, Kyabje Yongzin Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche and received his profound nectar-like words of advice and concluded the retreat with a Jetsun Milarepa feast offering.
